I enjoyed watching the video clip of the VPD dog team apprehending the thief over the weekend at our Broadway construction site. You can see him attempting to avoid capture by hiding in the porta potty and the dog pulling the guys pants right off him. Very entertaining for me; I doubt he found the experience entertaining or enjoyable, and hope that from this point forward he is bright enough to stay away from sites with “Sonitrol” signs.

For your other construction company prospects, I should advise that we have used your Sonavision monitored video at our construction sites since 2007. We were brought to you by referral from police agencies and insurance companies after we had many disappointing experiences with static guard and dog services. Sonavision has cut our security expenses by 75% and provided us with a valuable management tool by allowing us to view live and stored video remotely. We have had a decrease in theft and vandalism - and the ignorant thieves who do not know who Sonitrol is have been apprehended.

The Vancouver Police caught a thief on our Broadway construction site the other day so I thought it was time to write you a quick note to tell you how happy we are with our Sonavision construction site monitored video system.

We have employed Sonavision at our active construction sites for well over a year. Presently we have four construction sites and our corporate equipment compound protected with Sonavision. I have been in the construction industry for 19 years and I am well versed in how ineffective and expensive guards are at protecting construction sites. My experience is that guards sleep through, run from, are part of, or not even on site when a break-in occurs. Sonavision has allowed us to save significant dollars by eliminating guards and has made us more operationally efficient by offering us the ability to review live and recorded activity at sites remotely by means of the internet. Most importantly, these operational efficiencies and better protection helps us save money, be more competitive in the bid process and therefore win more projects.

Please pass our thanks along to the VPD for their prompt response and capture of the thief in the act. While you are at it, please thank the RCMP for apprehending the thief that they caught at our Discovery Green site last month!
