Sonitrol Detects Arson Attempt at Surrey Manufacturing Compound

Video Attached.
RCMP and Fire Services were dispatched immediately as an incendiary device was thrown into Save More Plumbing’s manufacturing compound on 84th Ave in Surrey at 1:57am on May 22nd.

On arrival, Surrey RCMP & Fire found a burning emergency flare and extinguished it before the flare could cause a large compound fire.

Sonitrol’s Joe Wilson, advises that Sonavision is a remotely monitored video system that detects heat or movement within a protected compound.  Compared to guards or dogs, Sonavision is a much more effective means of protecting compounds and construction sites.  Unlike guards, Sonavision does not cost $8,000 per month; does not fall asleep; does not leave the site for a coffee; cannot be immobilized and will not be a participant in a theft or arson.

Clients are brought to Sonitrol through referral from Police, Security Consultants and Insurance Companies.  On average, Police across North America arrive on scene in 3.5 minutes to a Sonitrol call as the event has been visually verified as real.  Since 1977 Our verified active audio and remotely monitored Sonavision intrusion systems have assisted police in the capture of over 160,000 criminals across North America.  Wilson also adds that numerous insurance companies realize that guards are inferior and recommend Sonavision as a replacement to “Night Watchman” insurance clauses.
